Opened on July 21, 2025, Expression Kawaguchiko is a French cafe and terrace where you can enjoy carefully curated breakfasts, lunches, and sweets in a relaxed setting, nestled in the natural beauty of the Lake Kawaguchi region.
Like a forest hideaway, our space is surrounded by lush greenery, delicately designed to create a tranquil atmosphere. With every visit, we hope to offer a sensory and culinary experience you won’t find anywhere else.

Expressing Morning

9:00-11:00（Last Order 10:30）

Wake up to something a little different. Our open-faced sandwiches start with carefully toasted pain de mie from Kunitachi, Tokyo, then get topped with the freshest seasonal ingredients. Enjoy it with our crisp, fresh Crystal Salad and a refreshing Lavender Cordial Soda.

Expressing Lunch

Indulge in authentic French flavors, made simple and satisfying. Choose from three roasts — Koshu beef, Fuji Sakura pork, or local Koshu chicken — all roasted whole and carved to order to keep the rich flavours intact. We also have a selection of curated wines to pair with your meal.

Expressing Afternoon

14:00-17:00（Last Order 16:30）

Discover a moment of pure sensory indulgence with our signature lavender Basque cheesecake — rich, silky, and scented with lavender plucked straight from the Lake Kawaguchi plains. Our terrace welcomes families and pets alike, making it a perfect spot to unwind.

Enjoy the flavors of Expression wherever you are — be it at home or at your place of stay. We’re expanding our takeout offerings to include our signature pain de mie bread, freshly brewed coffee, and more.
